Cabanilles was a quarterly magazine published between January 1982 and December 1990 by the Associació Cabanilles d’Amics de l’Orgue – ACAO (Association of Friends of the Organ) in collaboration with the Excma. Diputació de València as a continuation of the informative work begun in the Orgues del País Valencià (Organs of the Valencian Country) collection. It was distributed among the members and by subscription as a specialized magazine to compile the studies and essential works of our organistic tradition and of the musical and cultural life that revolved around each of the towns and churches. Each issue, written by a different autor, contains an editorial section, a contextualization, illustrations and engravings, a space called “DOCUMENTA” (which deals with archival documentation), news, information related to the organistic activities of his time and a back cover with a historical photograph. The collection has been completely ceded to AVAMUS by Vicent Ros Pérez, emeritus Professor of organ at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Valencia, and is only available in Valencian and Spanish (the original languages).
All the funds digitized by our association have expressly the copyright holder’s consent to be able to publish online, view, archive, photocopy, scan, share or quote fragments of the works. This access allows the work to be reproduced and distributed in any non-commercial format, as long as the work is properly cited and the sources are appropriately used in accordance with current legislation on copyright. Online publications implies that other digital databases external to AVAMUS can reference and index the works. Any other use must be previously approved by the person who holds the copyright and derivates of these versions ara not allowed.
